Another Hero is Acknowledged

Chief Master Sergeant Roger Etchberger died bravely in Laos in 1968, saving fellow Americans at a top-secret radar station overrun by North Vietnamese commandos. His bravery was not properly recognized at the time because we were not supposed to have troops in Laos.

Finally, on September 21, Roger’s son will be given the Congressional Medal of Honor that his father earned more than 42 years ago.
